PORTING

A muzzle brake, or compensator, is a device that redirects propellant gases in order to reduce muzzle flip. 

A ported barrel is a type of muzzle brake that is integral to the firearm, often a handgun. The rationale behind it is that it facilitates rapid fire by reducing muzzle flip. Pricing starts at 150.00.

OPTIC CUTS

A very popular trend these days is adding a red dot optic to the slide of a hand gun. Helix Gunsmithing does all optic cuts in house and refinishes the cut zone as part of the package. Most places don't offer that service. Helix Gunsmithing can mill your slide to accept all the popular carry optics such as: Trijicon RMR, Halosun, Vortex Venom, Burris Fast Fire, Deltapoint, Cmore RTS, FN509 and 1911 carry optic adapter plates.
